Take a taxi from O'Hare airport:
It'll cost you about $50 for the ride from O'Hare to the hotels or venue, but the plus is that fare is the same for as many passengers as you can fit in the cab. The Chicago Cubs, the 1908 World Series champions, are at home vs. the Houston Astros on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Tickets can be hard to come by these days at Wrigley Field, so buy early. Click here: Cubs tickets

Golf where Tiger plays:
Get in 18 holes at Cog Hill, site of the Western Open, which Tiger Woods has won. It's in Lemont, just a stone's throw from the tournament venue. See the course: Cog Hill

Shopping:
If you're bringing the missus, shopping is just 15 minutes away at upscale Oak Brook Center or Orland Square Mall.
